Crime Update

Crime update for the Belvoir Neighbourhood, issued today by Hugh Crouch, Leicestershire Constabulary.
 
"There have been no burglaries to dwellings during the last 5 days in the area,  but please keep your property secure.

With regards to theft of, or theft from, motor vehicles, please ensure that you keep these units safe and secure,  over night in the Rutland area a Land Rover 90 was stolen, while parked in a field. 

Crime incidents: Details are as follows:

In the Garthorpe area there have been a number of incidents involving theft of items;  at a farm a red diesel tank was attacked and an unknown amount of fuel has been removed.  This occurred on the evening of the 11th April 07.

The Garthorpe Racecourse has also been targeted over the last few weeks,  where a quantity of oil and items have been removed. 

In the Buckminister area, a large stack of straw was set a blaze over the weekend,  so please make extra observations of your property / stacks.
