Area Update

following crime update was issued by
Leics Constabulary today.
Dear Neighbourhood watch and countryside watch members,
In the Long Clawson area:
Between the 26th and 29th of March, 4 alloy wheels were removed from a vehicle.
In the Scalford area:
A garden shed was broken into and a number of items remove, this occurred on the 29th march.
In the Barkestone area:
On the 1st of April a car parked near to the Barkestone Woods was attacked between 15:15 and 16:15 hrs, and a handbag was stolen.
In the Harby area:
A burglary to a dwelling took place on Watsons Lane, between the 31st March and the 2nd April.
In the Great Dalby area:
On the 29th March, a dwelling was broken into on Nether End, between the hours of 22:00 and 23:50. A search of the property took place and a quantity of cash was removed.
In the Twyford area:
On the evening of the 29th March a number of incidents took place in the area and the following items removed:
An Ifor Williams trailer
A Defender 90 series Land Rover, which was BLUE in colour
A Horse Box which is Blue and Silver in colour
