Mobiity scooter stolen

A battery-powered mobility scooter was stolen from outside a property in Main Street, Muston, at about 11 am yesterday (Monday 15 March). A neighbour saw a white flat-bed truck acting suspiciously about that time. If anyone has any information (eg the reg. number of the truck) which may be relevant, please contact the police on 0116 222 2222, referring to Incident 509 of 15 March.

Police Station Opening hours

NHW has recently cooperated with Leicestershire Constabulary to find further Vale residents prepared to be vetted and trained as Community Volunteers for work at Bottesford Police Station. The aim has been to enable that Station to be opened reliably and consistently on three days of the week, to facilitate the interaction and flow of information between the Community and the Police. As the attached notice states, from 6 April the Police Station will be open for two hours on each Monday afternoon, Wednesday evening, and Friday morning, Bank Holidays excepted.

Chip Shop Window Smashed

Sometime in the early hours of Sunday morning, 14 March, the large front window of the Fish & Chip shop in Queen Street, Bottesford was smashed. If anyone has any relevant information about this incident, would they please contact Leicestershire Constabulary on 0116 222 2222 and refer to Incident 157 of 14 March
